Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.
- Henry Ford
The one thing that is making this absolute insanity (Stop the insanity! Remember, Susan Powter?) much more bearable, and actually fun, is the fact that I have pulled together one of the greatest teams in the history of original-musicals-being-self-produced-by-novices.
And the most wonderful thing is that we are all interconnected in some way. Everybody on the "team" has worked with at least one other person on the team in a creative or collaborative capacity. This is a group of smart, tough, determined, talented, experienced, generous and fun people. And their my friends. So, since my life has to essentially revolve around this show, at least for the next couple of months, I can't think of a better group of people I'd rather spend my time with.
I mean, really...what more could I ask for?
Well, I could ask for another $15,000 so that I could pay all of these brilliant people what they deserve to be paid...but, that will come...in time.
For now, check out these budding talents, here.
Then come back and "Stop the Insanity" with Susan Powter.
